This series of nonfiction illustrations are related to microorganisms. I wanted to investigate these tiny creatures that people sometimes ignore: fungi, bacteria, single-celled organisms, and so on. 

I allow these microbes, which are supposed to be small and invisible, to dominate the whole picture. In contrast, as a "more advanced" creature, the human figures are designed to be small, which enlarged their curiosity and awe during the contact with microorganisms.

I was intended to convey the humbleness of humanity and encourage people to think about the relationship between humans and other species that share the same planet.
